Staying on the theme of the week - Animation - I am joining in with this week's



Focused on the Magic

One of our favorite things to do at Disney's Hollywood Studios is participate in a class at the Animation Academy. Here are my wife and my most recent results:

  1. Animation Academy looks like such a fun class - my younger daughter would love it!!

    1. It is a lot of fun, and they can get just about anyone to draw a recognizable character in the 30 minutes the class runs.

  2. My girls like to do the drawing class several times a trip. And my older daughter even used the instructor as a model for a paper she had to write for speech class - critiquing someone else's speech :-)

    1. We usually try to do it a few times as well. Sometimes it is just my wife and myself, sometimes my daughter and myself and sometimes all three of us. It's always a lot of fun.

  3. Wow- you guys are GOOD!! I'm always amazed at how they can talk guests through the animation steps...

    1. You do see a lot of good character drawings after the class. And if you ask at the counter in the gift shop they will give you a rubber band to put around it.

  5. You guys can definitely wield a pencil. I love going to the class, but sadly my results are relatively pathetic for the number of times that I've sat through the class. One day I'll get it.
