Disney by Sea & Land - Day 4

Day 4 - January 20

Today is our first full day on the Disney Wonder and it will be a full day at sea. We left Miami last evening and will be in Cozumel, Mexico tomorrow, but for today we will enjoy a relaxing day on board the ship.

Rather than a normal breakfast or lunch, today we are to have brunch at Palo, the adult-only restaurant. Located on Deck 10 at the stern of the ship with large windows which give a great view of the Caribbean Sea all around. Our server, Ivan, takes us on a tour of the buffet.

And yes, notice the great desserts available. Not sure which foods you want? Have them all. Same with the desserts!

One of our favorite things to do at Walt Disney World (at Disney's Hollywood Studios) is to attend a class at the Animation Academy - and we will do that again once we are at Disney World next week. Today there is a similar class in Animator's Palette which we all attend. Today's subject will be drawing Donald Duck.

It wouldn't be a relaxing day without a nap, and that is the order of the day next for many of us. I continue to take some photos around the ship and then take part myself. Before we know it our next activity is upon us.

It's now time for our class in tequila and tequila tasting. This also will take place in Animator's Palette. Along with the class on the history of tequila and the types of tequila available, we get to taste three different types of tequila along with two margaritas.

Speaking of Animator's Palette, our dinner rotation takes us there this evening for dinner. Once again our server Sunil and our assistant server Jane meet us at table 49 for tonight's dinner and "show".

And we are joined tonight by Mickey himself!

Tonight we head to the nightclub to listen to the house band and then see Scott Pepper and his first magic show of the cruise. During the course of his show my daughter's mother-in-law is picked to take part in the performance.

After a very enjoyable magic show, it's time for bed. Tomorrow morning we dock in Cozumel, Mexico.
